Our Medical Assisting program prepares graduates for an entry-level position in a physician’s office or medical clinic. Students learn not only in the classroom, but also in a lab that simulates, as realistically as possible, the typical facilities, equipment, and records found in a physician’s office, including microscopes, EKG machines, exam tables and medical instruments.
The last 180 hours of a student’s program is reserved for working and learning at an externship site. Here, under supervision, students have the opportunity to experience firsthand their future working environment.
